Ice Skate Egypt Launches Its New Skating Program

Ice Skate Egypt hosted two special lives with Niccolò Macii, and with Madison Chock and Evan Bates via Instagram Live.
Quarantine has been primetime for Instagram Lives and Ice Skate Egypt has jumped on the bandwagon and interviewed three special guests– Niccolò Macii, to talk about off-ice, and Madison Chock and Evan Bates, to talk about their Egyptian snake dance. Niccolò is an Italian pair skater who won silver at an ISU Challenger Series event, the 2014 Lombardia Trophy, and placed 12th at the 2016 European Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia. He has competed at three World Junior Championships and is currently training in Italy with Sara Conti. Together they placed 3rd at the Italian National Championships.
Following Niccolò’s interview, Ice Skate Egypt interviewed Olympic ice dancers Madison Chock and Evan Bates about storytelling on the ice (don’t worry if you missed them, they are available for streaming on Ice Skate Egypt’s new Youtube channel). Madison and Evan are two-time World Medalists and US National Champions, three-time Grand Prix Final silver medalists, two-time Four Continents Champions, and two-time Olympians.
